Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is the Provincial Nominee Program with the most options or categories that you may apply for. Most of the program would either require you to have a job offer or a relative. But under MPNP General Stream, your friends may help you get a nomination.
Applicants to the MPNP must be able to clearly demonstrate they are employable in Manitoba and have a strong potential to settle successfully and permanently in this province. If you are a skilled worker and are interested in living and working in Manitoba, you have the best chance of being nominated if:
The criteria for each stream is outlined below.
Employer Direct• an offer of a long-term, full-time job in Manitoba pre-approved by the MPNP
If your job offer has not been pre-approved by the MPNP you must:• have an offer of a long-term, full-time job in Manitoba
• have a work permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
• be currently working for the Manitoba employer that has offered you the job and been working there for at least six months
International Student• an offer of a long-term, full-time job in Manitoba
• a post-graduate open work permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada after you completed a post-secondary educational program of at least eight months in Manitoba
• currently working for the Manitoba employer that offered you the job and been working there for at least six months
Family Support
• a close relative in Manitoba who has signed a Manitoba Affidavit of Support (MAS)
• a close relative is defined as a mother/father, son/daughter, sister/brother, aunt/uncle, niece/nephew, grandparent or first cousin.
Strategic Initiatives
Strategic Initiatives are undertaken at the discretion of the MPNP in accordance with program needs and available resources. You are eligible to apply if you:• participated in an exploratory visit to Manitoba, confirmed by the MPNP, and had an interview with a MPNP officer, or
• were interviewed by a MPNP officer and received a letter of invitation to apply as part of a MPNP targeted overseas promotional initiative, or
• have the support of an ethnocultural community organization in Manitoba that will help you arrange an exploratory visit that has been pre-approved by the MPNP
General stream
You must have at least one of the following:• a close relative in Manitoba who has signed an Affidavit of Support (MAS)
• two friends or distant relatives in Manitoba who have each signed an affidavit of support
• completed education in Manitoba
• previous work experience in Manitoba (six months minimum)

I just want to ask regarding the MPNP, we have received an acknowlegement letter already but this time with a file nimber on the upper right column compose of 5digits(FILE#_ _ _ _ _)is it the file nimber already of our application? Thanks!
If it's from Manitoba PNP, that probably is your File NUmber.

Possible po. As soon as you received the visa notice, submit your passport asap. Do you now have machine readable passports? If not, please renew them asap.

Malapit-lapit na po yan. Pwede pong mag-follow yung sister nya sa Manitoba PNP and to confirm na rin rin kung natanggap nila yung bank statement.

last week i submit my aprroval letter and other forms (1.Application for permanent REsidence in Canada, a Background declaration, b Economic Classes c.additional family info 2. Identity and Civil Status), Travel documents, Proof of relationship to Canada, Police and NBI Certificates, Fee Payments and Photo Requirements and this day the Embassy returned it on me....

processing period is standard, regardless where your application came from.
nominee applicant... natanggap po ng canadian embassy iyong visa application package namin last april 26, 2010... nakatanggap po kami ng email noong monday, may 17, 2010 stating that they received our application complete & correct payment... nakalagay din po sa email na kailngan na namin magbayad ng RPRF... 21,000 each, so bale 42,000 para sa aming mag-asawa... wala na pong fee iyong 4 year old son namin? we are require to submit our RPRF within 60 days from the day we received the letter... saan po namin i-address iyong manager's check, sa visa section or doon sa P.O. box???

1. pwede na po kaya maging eligible ako? or baka ma deny?
2. required po ba ang IELTS at english test bago mag pass ng application

I am planning to apply for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program under the General Stream Category and I saw the in demand list of occupations in Manitoba. Unfornately, Accountants/Bookkeepers are not listed, which is my current occupation. My question is. . .If I will apply, does my application gets a less chance for approval? Assuming that my score exceeds 55 points, as per required thereof.

I'm currently, employed here in Qatar and I'm planning to apply under the general stream category of MPNP. This is about the settlement fund, which is one of the requirements for the appliaction. Is it valid to use the bank statement of our savings account in the Phils. or we really have to open an account here in Qatar and get a bank statement after 3 months?
sir apol nag submit na po kmi ng lahat ng documents nmin kasama ang letter of approval dto sa rcbc last aug.11, together with the processing fee and they return it back to me nung aug 19, 2010 which is my due date tlaga, hinahanapan ako ng provincial nominee certificate so binalik ko ulit ng august 20, 2010 and they return it bak again this august 28, 2010... e kumpleto nman ako d ko lng maintindihan dto sa embassy manila kung ano itong provincial nominee certificate?
@Ria, Managers Checke should be payable to Canadian Embassy Manila. Send it to Visa Section.
@Jimmy, since you already have a file number, it means your application was considered complete. Just wait for their next letter. NOt sure how it will affect your application.
@John, that refers to the visa office responsible for processing your application. How about New Delhi?

My name is Lanie,My husband has a close friend to Winnipeg and willing to support us. We are both professional and have more than 10 work experience, My husband is 41 years age and I am 39. We have two kids of 10 and 2 years old. I would like to apply to Canada under PNP to Manitoba. We are worry regarding to FUNDS requirements. As for now our savings is just around 50% less base from the requirements. Can we still apply the PNP to Manitoba?

Hi sir, i've already completed the MPNP requirements, hence i was already issued an immigrant visa and should use it before August, 2011. My question sir is, should I still produce that 10k CAD required for all PNP applicants even if my Uncle had already demonstrated financial support under the MAS form, which says there if an applicant doesn't have enough funds, then, the sponsor will produce the funds instead? I applied MPNP Family Support to Manitoba. Kelangan ko pa po bang produce ng 10k and kung wala akong 10k, ano mangyayaring scenario sa immigration sa Canada pag wala akong enough funds since, ang tito ko naman ang nagpakita ng proof of financial support?.. Good day, i receive a letter denying my MPNP, with the basis that i have a stronger ties to a different province compared to Manitoba, but it doesn't mean im not capable to establish here in Manitoba. All other requirements i did pass,exept this one. My query to you is, Can a program officer, dicide base on what he/she thinks, not base on the facts and documents submitted?
I would like to ask if I need to have a work experience as indicated in the immigration's application form whereas I have read on the website of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba that they don't require practice hours for those who graduated from a basic nursing program within the past four years. I graduated last October 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I am very concerned with this because it will affect my score on the self-assessment for General Stream.

good day! Ask ko lang po kung ano ibig sabihin dun sa point system na second official language?? Kulang kasi ako ng 2 points sa general stream, hindi ko sure kung pwede kong makuha yung 2nd official language kahit na naaccumulate ko yung 12 points for 1st official language dahil sa IELTS. Pwede ba ako magpakita ng cetification na english yung medium ng language namen nung HS and college pra makuha yung yung 2 points???
And regarding sa settlement fund, strict ba sila sa show money?? As in the whole period of application (almost 1 year) e dapat may 10000 dollars yung account ko?? kasi to be honest magborrow lang ako, for show.
Im in the process of submitting my application pa lang. Yung MPNP forms at documenjts pa lang ang ipapadala no?? Kasi mahal paLBC kaya I need to be sure kung ano ano ang mga ipapadala.

May dilemma po ako regarding sa live-in caregiver program and Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. It will be a long story if I will explain why the situation now happens. Gusto ko lang po malaman kung magkakaroon b ako ng problema kapag di ko n tinuloy ang live-in caregiver program ko sa Ontario since just last week natanggap n ng agency ko sa Canada yung approved LMO ko. I want to apply sa MPNP and as of now, ipapanotarize ko n lang docs ko and i will request for my bank certificate and statement then isesend ko n sa auntie ko sa winnipeg lahat para ma submit n nya.
Do you have any suggestions sir of what is the best thing to do?

i got my LOA last nov 2011 and applied for permanent visa in canadian embassy on dec 2011 via LBC... its going to 2 months already and i haven't received any reply or AOR from them.... should i follow up my application or i need to be patient from waiting? thanks a lot and i hope you can help me.
