Do you want to earn P600/hour minimum wage?

With the passing of The Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, the minimum wage in Ontario starting on January 2019 will be CAD15/hour! It will also provide at least two paid, job-protected sick days for all workers, increase holiday entitlement, and boost protections for temporary employment agency workers.  Read the news here.

New Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Effective April 2018

Consistent with Canada's goal to bring in up to 1 Million New Immigrants in the next 3 years, Provincial Governments are adjusting their respective Provincial Nominee Programs. Manitoba recently announced that effective April 2018, they will introduce new Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programs. The goal is to make it user friendly, to make it easy for the applicants.

Deemed Rehabilitation | Application for Rehabilitation for Persons Who Are Inadmissible to Canada

Included in the Inadmissible Class of Persons under Canada's Immigration Law are those who have been convicted of a crime or have committed an act outside Canada that would be considered a crime in Canada. But if the crime or conviction occurred more than 10 years ago, you may be deemed rehabilitated.

Dual Citizenship | How to Apply for Dual Citizenship While in Canada

Republic Act 9225 or the Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition Act of 2003 (Dual Citizenship Law) gives a chance for natural-born Filipinos who have become naturalized citizens of Canada, or other country for that matter, to reacquire their Philippine citizenship simply by taking an oath of allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines. As such, they shall enjoy full civil and political rights as Filipinos, subject to certain conditions. You do not need to reside in the Philippines if you reacquire your Philippine citizenship.
