Summary of Provincial Nominee Program Express Entry Stream (PNP EE Stream)

If you are currently included in the Express Entry Pool and you are looking for ways to increase your ranking, PNP Express Entry is one of the ways to do it.


Each province have different ways to attract and filter would be immigrants. The common requirements to be eligible for different PNP EE Stream are:
  • You must be included in the Express Entry Pool
  • You must show proof of your intention to reside in the Province you are applying for
  • The target destination you declared in your EE Profile should be The Province or Anywhere in Canada.

Summary of Provincial Nominee Program Express Entry Stream (PNP EE Stream)


A. British Columbia Express Entry Stream (BC PNP Express Entry)
The Express Entry BC (EEBC) stream of the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) connects to the federal Express Entry system. It’s a faster way for eligible skilled workers to gain permanent residence in B.C.  There are several streams available:
  • EEBC - Skilled Worker (you need a job offer)
  • EEBC - Healthcare Professional (you need to be a registered healthcare professional and a job offer)
  • EEBC - International Student Graduate (must be  graduate with a valid qualification from an eligible Canadian university or college within the last three years and must have accepted a full-time, indeterminate job offer?
  • EEBC - International Post-Graduate (must have a graduate degree in the sciences from an eligible B.C. institution.

B. Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry
The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream selects highly skilled individuals who wish to live in Nova Scotia permanently. Applicants must have a good chance of quickly finding a job in Nova Scotia’s labour market.  There 2 Categories:
  • Category A: You need a full-time permanent skilled job offer from a Nova Scotia employer.
  • Category B: You have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in one of our target occupations, job offer not a requirement

C. Ontrio Express Entry
This enables Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to nominate individuals that have qualified for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Express Entry pool and who have the required education, skilled work experience, language ability, and other factors to help them successfully establish and integrate into Ontario’s labour market and communities. There are currently 3 categories:
  • Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities Stream (This is by invitation only. You must have received a Notification of Interest from Ontario through your IRCC online account to be eligible)
  • Ontario Express Entry: French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (To be eligible, you must have CLB Level 7 in French and CLB Level 6 in English. 
  • Ontario Express Entry: Skilled Trades Stream (To be eligible, you must be currently residing in Ontario and must have a Trade Certification if you are working or have worked in an occupation that requires trade certification in Ontario.  This is by invitation only.

D. New Brunswick Nominee Program Express Entry (NBNP Express Entry)
NBNP Express Entry Continuously accepts application for Expression of Interest (EOI).  All you have to do is send your EOI to entree.express.entry@gnb.ca.  To be eligible, you must be able to show proof of your genuine intention to reside in New Brunswick.

E. International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry (SINP Express Entry)
To be eligible under the SINP Express Entry, Have work experience in a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level "A", "B" or "0" that’s in-demand in Saskatchewan. It accepts a limited number of applications with a certain period. There is a non-refundable Application Fee amounting to $300.

F. Prince Edward Island Express Entry (PEI Express Entry)
PEI Prioritizes those with strong connection in Prince Edward Island.  If you study, work experience, family connection, business, etc in PEI, you will have a great chance of being selected.  To apply, you just have to submit a completed Expression of Interest form to expressentry@gov.pe.ca. There is no charge to submit this form.

G. Alberta Express Entry Stream
The Alberta Express Entry Stream allows Alberta to nominate a limited number of qualified candidates from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Express Entry system.

Candidates who have demonstrated strong ties to Alberta or who can help support the government’s economic development and diversification priorities may be asked to submit an application.

H. Newfoundland and Labrador Priority Skills
With or without Express Entry Profile, you may apply for nomination via Priority Skills NL

If you are at least 21 years old, can get an IELTS Score of at least CLB 5, have worked in a specialized, highly skilled, in-demand occupation for at least one full year in the last 10 years and intends to live permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador, here is your chance to immigrate to Canada!
