Yukon Canada and Philippines Employment Agreement | 2,000 Filipino Workers Per Year Needed in Yukon, Canada!

Philippines Secretary of Labour and Employment Silvestre Bello and Yukon Canada Economic Development Minister Ranj Pillai recently signed a letter of intent, an agreement, that will help create a more streamlined process under the Yukon Nominee Program to help address the territory’s labour shortage. 

This agreement will give an opportunity for Filipino Workers to work in Canada and eventually apply for Permanent Residence.

How to apply for work in Yukon Canada?
If you are interested to work in Yukon, Canada through recently signed agreement between Yukon and Philippines, the job orders will be made available at POEA Website. Visit www.poea.gov.ph and check for announcements and job order postings for Canada

Yukon Nominee Program is open to all NOC Levels. To qualify, you must have:

  • Proof of a minimum of 6 months work experience (critical impact worker) or one year (skilled worker) for the position you are being nominated for
  • Proof of education credentials (At least Grade 12)
  • Proof of Language proficiency 
Language Proficiency requirements varies depending on the NOC Level:
  • NOC 0 and A: IELTS General Training 6
  • NOC B: IELTS General Training 5
  • NOC C and D: IELTS General Training 4
