The 38 high demand occupations or the list of 38 occupations eligible for processing under Federal Skilled Workers application is now out!

If you have at least one year work experience in one or more of the following occupations, your application may be prioritized:

This is just a quick post to inform you of the said list of 38 high demand occupations. For those who filed after Feb 27, 2008 whose occupations are not included on the list of high demand occupations, it's not the end of the world yet. I'll discuss that on my next entry.

Ang kaama ay yung related sa welding such as brazing machine, blowtorch, etc.

I am working as na ESL Teacher for 5 years now.I was supposed to go to Canada 2 years ago but a problem arose when the financial stability of my prospect employer was investigated and found out that they could me pay for the service i would render them; so i was not given a working visa. My husband's parents and two siblings are now citizen in Vancouver, BC and his aunt as well in Manitoba.

hi apol, i just read some of the inquiries and i found it very informative.. outlined below my questions that needs your brilliant ideas on your experties;
1. i am now currently working here in alberta, canada as a food counter attendant (FCA)that is far away from my field. Before i landed in canada, i worked in phil. as a center accountant for a year and accounting functions for the previous employer. Hi Apol! I have my employer in Canada, but unfortunately my LMO has been denied. We have some notion na bka dhil sa financial crisis nowadays? Pero sbi nmn ng employer ko, we try ulet after six months. He wants me to fill the position as Admin Assistant kc. Pero he emailed me naman na if ever meron ako iba way pra mkpunta sa Canada then sabihin ko sa knya and willing sya mgprovide ng documents na kailangan. Ano po ba ang way na pede ko gawin pra mkpgwork ako legally sa Canada without having the difficulty of LMO Approval? Kindly advice po what to do.

^based on experience, the visa office will require you to pay the RPRF and undergo medical examination only after positive evaluation of your documents (approval).

Hi: I worked for nine years as an Administrative Supervisor. I wasn't a degree holder then but I am a computer savvy. I was retrenched and unemployed for five years. During that period, I took a degree course at the Open University. Now, I finished already an Associate degree in Arts. I am still pursuing my bachelor's degree program now at the same university. ^depende po yan sa inyo. it's just a matter of priority. do you have the option not to finish your contract? then again, you still have to meet the requirements to get a Canadian Visa.

Dental Health Services Administrator is included. But that is different from a dentist. That will depend on the profile of your clinic. How many associates do you have? How many branches?

Hi Mr. Apol,gusto ko pong mag immigrant sa Canada kasama ang asawa ko at mga anak ko. Me and my husband currently working here in Dubai, but my two daughters(9 & 11 yrs old) are in the phils. So, ano po ba ang dapat gawin o ihanda na docs at magkano po ba ang show money na kailangan at mga babayarin sa pag process sa mga papers namin if ever qualified kami. I am currently working as an Accounting and Finance Manager for more than 10 years but not a CPA. I've check the cic website for 38NOC for the duties listed therein. More than half of the duties listed under NOC#1111 and half of the NOC#0111 are my current duties. Is it best to apply using the NOC#1111? Even if am not a CPA? Hi Apol, I once had meet you in one of your seminar in Angeles City, Pampanga. Ako po yong Chemical engr.by profession.Ngayon na di na po kasama and Chemical Engineer/ Chemist sa 29 priority list. Kailangan ko bang hintayin kong kaylan ito makasama sa priority list bago ako mag apply? or do i need other options. Waiting for your advise.

hello Mr. Apol..Im a nurse here in Saudi and have been practicing my profession for 5years now. My contract is about to end soon and I will be going back to the Philippines..Will I still qualify as an applicant for FSW without arranged employment even if I hand in my application after my resignation? good day . meron po akong work experience sa isang production. Production Operator po ako ako doon for more that 5 years. Manufacturing company po siya at specialize po ay about the thin film transistor sa cellphone, camera at iba pa po.meron po ba kayong available sa production. Meron din po akong experience sa cashier at saleslady. Thanks in advance

Hi Apol....my daughter is a Registered Nurse and had more than 6 months of formal after-grad training in V. Luna Hispital and bout 3 motnhs working in a Clinic .....is she eligible ti apply for Canada? And what categories?
